I am Andrew Ashcroft. I write books. Some of them are gross and some of them are meant to be useful. None of them are bestsellers yet, except in the category ‘books by Andrew Ashcroft’.
When I’m not writing amazing and rare books, I teach a class of delightful eight-year-olds and sing along to songs from my favourite musical, Oliver!
I live at the seaside in Sweden with my family and an elderly guinea-pig called Rasmus, four well-behaved hens called Mette-Marit, Märtha-Louise, Elsa and Baby Penguin, one rebel hen who likes flying away called Maggan, and a brown Citroën car that could double as a hen-house.
I am writing a truly amazing book right now, but that’s a secret. The only clue is that it has just about nothing to do with any book I’ve written before.
